Lenten Study – Forms of Prayer
Sundays at 11:30, during Lent. Beginning on February 26
Our Adult Ed Lenten Series will be a workshop focusing on different ways of praying. We’ll introduce different spiritual prayer practices each week and try them out together. These will include a wide variety from different types of meditation, to reading prayers from the early church, to praying with our whole body. There will be no book or reading that accompanies this study, but I will send out resources on the forms of prayer that we go over from week to week in order to make it easier to practice these on your own. During this time, you’re encouraged to journal about your prayer life. This would be a good way for you to take up something spiritual for Lent, and to focus on your connection with God.
